News
On 26–27 February 2025, the RER-CTO project team convened to develop digital specifications for a streamlined clinical trial application and review system in Ethiopia. This system, designed for EFDA and NRERB, will enable online applications, track approval statuses, and monitor clinical trial implementation.
Additionally, the team worked on enhancing Tanzania's digital clinical trial application and review process. The improved system aims to strengthen protocol reviews, establish better links between IRBs, NRAs, and NECs, and enhance post-approval monitoring of clinical trials.
